We stayed at the Paris hotel on Las Vegas st. Did not get much chance to take photos outside, but this one shows what it is like now(april) in Vegas.
It was my second visit there and everything has changed a lot. The weather was beautiful, so as flowers arranged in one of close hotels. Vegas is truelly a beauty of full of interesting stuff. Luke and I with two boys had so much fun exploring around watching many shows outside when I was not at WPPI. We did enjoy swimming at the pool and went to this awesome Korean restaurant many times while we were there.
We just had to stay at the hotel room when the storm came and this was one of the funniest moments. After all the water gun playing, they decided to have a bare body dancing party. I just love those cute little bottoms...Don't you?

Accolade of Excellence at WPPI 2007

Wow!
I have awarded with an Accolade of Excellence in the album competition this week at the 2007 Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention in Las Vegas, NV. WPPI convention is the largest gathering of wedding and portrait photographers in the world, and this year there was over 10,000 attendees from 37 different countries.

Many people were surprised with that I got awarded as the first time entry into the competition. I was very happy and realized a lot more to learn. As I went through works of other photographers, it became clear that photo album was more than just scrapbook of photos. Many of them carried stories and moments of people.

This album, entitled A Very Special Day, received its honor in the non wedding event category.

Thanks to everyone who entered and particularly to the judges, who had to spend long time on a record number of entries this year.
