SHOW TIME

This is one of the samples of DVD slide show. Just to share...

So many people asked if they could buy the slide shows that were presented by Yellowhale, because they were so beautiful. I use mostly Jazz Piano music as a background and it became a trade mark for Yellowhale. I love making slide shows because it can carry so much of the day's feelings.. including mom's, children's, bride's, baby's...
When I take pictures, there are so much to capture like atmosphere, love, giggles, happiness or even sorrows. Of course I try to put them into images as much as possible, but sometimes it is not enough.

The most comment that I hear from moms and brides after the first presentation of the slide show is "it made me tear... I love it, thank you."

And I say... "my pleasure~ ^.^"

Holiday Cards

Holiday is around the corner (already!!!).

If you are looking to have photographs in time for Christmas - you must book now. The final session for holiday delivery will be November 11th. You must have your order placed by November 18th.

For clients who already had a session, please place holiday orders by November 10th!

Here is some samples of styles this year. To view entire styles (we have 28 styles to choose from), please click any of the follwing images. It will direct you to a little jingle slide show of awesome cards. The girls in the cards below are "G" and "S". I will post some of their pictures later ^.^- we had such a great time running around and giggling last week.

Our cards are 5"x7", on a rich, glossy cardstock, and they can even come folded in a white linen envelope. 25 cards come in a box and $60/box. (Tax and $10 shipping will be added to the total) The quality is just so great. You've got to see and touch it!!!

Anyway, I am pretty much swamped with all holiday rush right now, but there is some availablity to accept few sessions before it is too late for holiday. So hurry! if you want one!

Olivia's Album

Oh my my.. isn't she adorable?

She turned one. yes, this is about her "the 1st birthday."

Her beautiful smile and oh-so-soft skin... just made me so happy when I shoot.

Design of this album just came so easily. It is one of my "special package" album for 1 year olds. So many clients loved it so much! Every album is different because I hand design all albums. All inspiration comes from the images... so it is so unique and beautiful!

Hope this album let her and her family cherish the preious moments a long time. When it comes to life (in 8x10 flush mounted album).. I will take pictures of outside and post here to show its quality and cover design.

Jazz Pianist

What an opportunity! What a fun!!!
Jazz Pianist Kwak Yoon Chan had come all the way from Seoul to NYC to have his recording and photograph done two weeks ago.
When he first called to schedule a shoot with me, I was in shock with joy and surprise. You know, I am mostly children's photographer (even though I got to do lots of other stuff like musician profile, business head shots and event photography...), but this is an awesome chance to do such a cool things, because the pictures will be published in his 4th CD in November 2007!

I met these three great musicians in NYC and had so much fun with them taking pictures listening their music of course.

as you can hear the background music at my website (it is "Emily," my favorite).. All my clients' slide show has my choice of piano music in background and everybody loves it. What I am trying to say here is I love music and I love to take pictures of musician playing music.
The coolest thing happened there was that he wrote a song called "yellowhale" after he heard my vision and story behind Yellowhale Photography. and the song will be added to the CD!!! How cool is that???? I just can not help thinking about this exciting news! I got to hear the song "yellowhale".. it is such a beautiful song. I really really really like it.
I will share the song with everyone when the album is published in November! Stay tuned!!!!!
